Still deciding on keeping the flares black or painting to match the car.

Wtf bro...car looked hella clean before...what's this? I'd paint the flares and take off the shopping cart spoiler... even the bimmer front end isn't convincing me...but end of the day its not my ride.

I just had to put the flares on for the show. I'm repainting the whole car soon so I'm waiting to install my new side skirts before I paint everything.

I'm going for aggressive rocket bunny liberty walk style but since they don't have one I'm making my own style. It's funny because everyone loves Roland rocket bunny clk with his big spoiler. I was just tired of having the same thing as everyone one else on the forum. Lowered, wheels, cf lip, spoiler, and cf diffuser. I enjoy my car and still have many things planned for it but I'm slowly building it how I like and my style. Either you hate it or love it's your opinion and you can have it. All I have to say is I respect everyone on here for their own taste and style in what they want out of their car. There's enough putting down of others when we're all here in a common purpose is the love of the cars. Everyone tries new things on the scene and that's how it progresses. Hell people probably thought liberty walk was dumb for chopping up a lambo and Ferrari and yet now everyone wants it.

Love it or hate it... I enjoy looking at her and know what I'm aiming for out of my build. I still have a ways to go but I'm enjoying what's turning into.

I think these flares look better than the zg flares! I vote color match. I saw a newer slammed white mazda6 on these flares color matched - it looked awesome Also, i like how you cut the rear flares to expose the back side of the rear tires - ya consider the same on the front flares?

Is that rear diffuser from a w204?

Also that big wing is big! Everytime I come back to this build, it gets more and more crazy. I hope you end up w/ a crazy engine swap once all the looks are done regardless of anyone's opinion - i think once this thing is all said and done, it'll be awesome. Follow that vision!

I'm sure there will be a Corvette engine in it eventually.

Congrats on the win. Ahh, I'll miss the positive warmth of this forum.

Keep up the good work.

Sad to say I did get in a wreck on the way back from Houston. Still contemplating fixing it or parting it out

wow.... sorry to hear that. hope you're ok. Was it a collision with someone else? Hope it wasn't caused by the stance... seen many good cars die due to that stance stuff.

if you part out, what rear coils do you have? and did you have them slammed all the way? I may be interested. I don't think my h&r's will work the sarto kit. the rears of our cars are so high.

Did you end up picking a Japanese car for the next project like most of your friends now?

I already had a subie forester for a daily so I'm probably going to switch my accuair over to that and do RHD ej20 front clip on it. We already have 2 rhd cars on the team a prelude and a supra. Plus I've been craving boost again and I found a full sti forester front clip for 3k with momo steering wheels, pedals, zero motorsports intake and other upgrades. So that'll be my mini side project while I save up for a CLA I think. Thats what I want next or an older benz and do a classic vip look.

Sounds fun. Good luck!

How are US laws on RHDs? I know in Russia it's getting hard to import/drive those.

While the Benz is down I've decided to start another euro project. Picked up a 2001.5 Audi s4 6spd. Got it for a great deal. Came with a solo motorsports stage 2 tune, 3" down pipes, s line interior, 18" tsw, and the guy threw in a few extra parts. So far I've installed a Racetec fmic, fast intentions stage 3 exhaust, audio, podi boost gauge, 710n diverter valves, intake and fixing to bag it. Going to relip my infinitewerks and use them on the Audi since I have two faces.

Just sold the tsw few weeks back. I won't put the infinitewerks on till the spring probably. I just got new tires for the stock wheels so I'll ride on them for the winter. Saving up for tial 605 turbo kit. Got the power bug right now lol I'll do lil cosmetics on it more power on this build.

Still looking and reading all the great experiences and info from you and members of this forum. This will help me in deciding what mods i'd like to do in my C230. I just got to page 10 since im still here at work. I'll go through all the pages tonight. Great transition from the point when you started your project to now. I'm liking the 17's on your car back in 2011. Thank you for all information.
