Not sure why you'd "make an appointment with dealer" if it's now running okay.

Yes, my local independent technician retrieved a loose gas cap MFD malfunction warning via his STAR-DAS more than a year after it had been extinguished.
Stored codes are just that (i.e., not typically erased with most OTC handheld scanners).

i drive them all, fast and hard
i would go because the CEL was on and 2 codes were read, the CPS and post catalytic fuel thing

so i would assume that there are 2 issues going on with the car....

i thought erasing a code just means that the cel is off, but the underlying issue still exist??

so my question remains about what to do?

I would replace the CPS - simple if frustrating due to location behind the engine.

You other code makes no sense until you tell us exactly what it was. Maybe post cat O2 sensor????? in which case it is not critical.
