Usually only one side has the sensor. You can order one from rmeuropen.

I have the rear brake sensor. The problem is the harness to connect the rear brake sensor is missing. I know it was there before and out from nowhere its gone.

My understanding is that on the C230s, there is only one brake wear sensor - the passenger side front. I'll know for sure when I go to change my rear pads this weekend.

I have the sensor. I'm missing the harness that connects to the sensor on my rear brakes

So then you must have a "brake pad wear see workshop" light on in your cluster?

Yup I get the error message. When they tried to install the sensor the connector was missing

During 2005 the rear sensor was removed from cars to the US to save cost. Cars vary from 4 sensors on earlier & SA built cars to one on LHS front only on US cars.

Finally fixed it. I will never take my car outside the dealership. They installed my old brake sensors.

Then you'll always pay thrice as much as you should. Glad you got it fixed. My 05 does not have a rear brake sensor.
