I was just going threw craigslist because I am considering getting a new car and saw one of the rare C350 6 speeds for sale. I just wanted to share with the rest of you because I know that a lot of you guys have searched for a long time for one of these

Oh yeah, awesome car indeed. If she had navi and digital climate control, it'd be the holy grail!

Someone needs to offer 16 and contemplate settling at 18.

I agree, considering how crazy the value of our cars are dropping 22k is crazy. That price would have made sense 2 years ago imo. Right now you can get a c55 for 22k at similar millage. But I guess getting a rare car comes with a price.

C350 6MT > C55 AMG.

You'll find a lot more C55s out there than these.

LOL took TWO YEARS to find mine. (Yes I checked cars.com and autotrader.com everyday when the c55 was sleeping) Its hard to compare the C55 and the C350 6MT. I can compare since I have owned BOTH

. You arent going to find a c350 6mt with navi but I have seen one with bix. Great car though I will pass it on to some people that are looking for one!

It would be nice to have another forum member own this car

are those actually the amg calipers or just the same ones that came on the 2004.5 c230 where they are 4 pot but not the same dimensions etc as the amg ones? also saw it has parktronic on the rear bumper...interesting she didnt mention that

Its the same brakes as the 05+ sport brakes.

They are not AMG calipers, they are the 4-piston ones from the 2004.5 C230.

Also, there used to be a C350 6MT on eBay with COMAND and Bix, but a salvage history.

That is incorrect. The 2005-2007 C230s use 2-piston calipers. The 2004.5 Sport models had 4-piston calipers, as did the 2005-2007 C350s.

They all look similar but they are not the same.

The holy grail would've been a 2006-2007 coupe with a 3.5L and a manual if it ws brought to the states, but sadly neither is desirable to me now with the balance shaft issue.

I'd take a good look at that 'warranty APPLICATION'
that's unsigned by the applicant. And it appears to be an application, not
an actual warranty.
Since when does Mercedes offer 7 year warranties on anything?
Used to be 4 years was the max on a new car (4 years on top of the
factory warranty, but that gets negated if you take it in and they see you've gone over 50K miles, and that starts the clock on the extended warranty)

I'd get the VIN # straight away and see if the engine # is in the range of the effected balance shaft TSB.

She seemed to know it has AMG brakes and is VERY specific on the content of the vehicle.
It was purchased in NJ.

I see no mention of a 7 year warranty on a pre owned vehicle.

Ya I did, I love the coupe and going to be keeping that car until it dies which hopefully wont be for a long time(knock on wood). I have recently been debating on converting the sedan back to stock and selling it and getting either a C55 or a CLK55, Just looking around for now, not in a rush or anything.

Stock for stock the C32 is faster of course.. .3 of a liter isnt going to make a difference against a supercharger. Now there has been a modded c350 6mt that beat a c32 on the freeway!
