Cd changer plays mp3

I have an 06 c230 sport. I was goin to buy the aux input but dealer told me it's $80 so i tried to see if the player plays mp3... The head unit didnt but the cd changer did.. I think i can live with that for now.. 90 songs per cd.. Im happy with that.

Yes - on newer cars the stacker will play mp3's but the head unit/Nav unit won't.

You should be able to get the cable for about 50 bucks from the dealer.

Not sure if the 05 plays it but it's worth to try..
