Need help with headlights(Aussie)

Hey guys, just bought a car not so long ago and trying to pimp it up a little. Got new wheels and now it's time to change my headlights. Now, just for the record, I'm a complete noob at this lol.
What I would like is for my headlights to look something like this.....

Click the image to open in full size.

I understand that my headlights are not as clear but what I'm really after is that beautiful light blue color, so if anyone could explain to me what can I do to achieve that look? The prices I'm looking at and etc.

Also, do any Aussies know where I can find a shop in Sydney that does all of those things? I Googled places all night and could barely find any. Visited one but the guy was as helpful as a wall, couldn't even speak English.

Thanks!

that look comes from a hid kit, its between 6K-8K depending on the manufacturer (id say these are 8K). you can put them in your regular halogen housings (light will be scattered everywhere and people will highbeam you) or pick up some depo projectors or even modify your halogen housings with projectors.. goodluck

Appreciate it, but looking more into it, seems like HID lights are illegal here in Australia...

Are there any other options or for me to achieve that look or do I need HID kit?

HID's are the only option.

Not sure what the rules are in Australia, but fitting HID's in a projector bi-xenon projector housing should be perfectly legal. Thats what most stock cars have any way.

Hid kits are illegal almost everywhere. That said if you do it right with projectors and align it right they are usually fine except if you load the car up the projectors may be blinding people.

yeah hids are illegal pretty much everywhere but most cops have better things to do than give you a ticket for that + most new cars come with projectors with hid kits so they cant really tell a difference
