I am thinking that I remember reading somewhere that if you don't bleed all the air out of it, an air-bubble can get trapped and keep you from getting heat. Maybe someone else can chime in and tell you how to make sure this doesn't happen?? Or...I could be completely wrong. Just a fuzzy memory that sort of makes sense.

I assume you mean no Heaters?
yes try bleeding the system, airlocks will cause an issue |

Bleed & check that the auxilliary pump is working - mounted near the surge tank.
