will Audi rims fit w203?

Sorry guys,

Its me again with some wheel questions, would like to say thank you to phister upfront.

I had spotted some 18" Audi rims on eBay, the following is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....X:eRTM:AU:1123

With the specs on the auction, it seems like this will be a good fit to my c240 even though it is from Audi (oops~~~~).

Can anyone (phister? you are the man) tell me if they will fit? also whether the Audi cap in the centre has the same fitment as the MB cap so that I can put my factory caps on?

Any suggest regarding the look and stuff would be appreciated!! Thank you!!!

no sadly Audi not fit. on Mercedes you can put only Honda.

As Mercedes 112.4 and Honda 114.3 so these are main things that you need to look. Also mail hole where rim go on disk.
I drove Honda rims was good But not Audo as Audi is holes 100 and BMW 120 and etc.

you know 112 and 114 not big difference. So main thing if they fit is center big hole of the rim . Please find out and see if sellers and yous the same. But overall Audi not fit definitely as distance from holes for bolts 100 and your 112.4 ! even i wanted to pur rims that from Volvo that are 108 to 112.4 they not fitted to much troubles. Just forget these or try to find something 112 or worst 114 then you be safe otherwise you list them on ebay for sale section

hi Tom, I have done some research, and found out the following:

http://www.wheelfitment.net/audi

http://www.andysautosport.com/custom...all&sort=brand

From both this two website, they all say Audi A5 has a PCD of 5x112 which is not as what you said. So i guss it should fit? Anyone else have any ideas? thank you~~~~

There are several posts in regards to this. Not only do you have to be careful about the bolt pattern but also the center bore and offset. Happy searching.

Let me clear this up a little bit. The above posts are providing a bit of misleading information. First off MBs use 5x112 bolt pattern while MOST audis also do use 5x112 also. I am currently using wheels that were originally made for an audi on my sedan right now. All I needed were hub rings to change the wheel hub size from 71.3 too 66.5 which is what MBs are. Now some other audis use a lower hub size, I think its like 57.1 or something similar to that, with those you would need to have a shop shave out the hub to 66.5, which can be done, I have friends who have done it. Now the whole argument of the only kind of wheel that will fit a mercedes earlier is extremely miss leading and incorrect. You can not directly take 5x114 wheels and put it on a car requiring 5x112; you would need wobble bolts and a lot more, people do not do it very often because of safety issues and just complications that come with it. Also 5x114 is used on many different kinds of cars not just honda.

Hi pedidys, thx for ur reply. I just asked the seller re the hub size, just waiting for him to reply. The same seller is also selling the same set of rims which is made in Germany and has a ET of 24. Will ET24 be Ok for my car ir is it too much?

Also r rims made in Germany better quality than rims made in Czech Repblic? thx~~~~~

OEM MB wheels are German made so are BBS and OZ racing wheels, which are top notch and are used in many racing programs.

hi phister, thanks for your advice, i went through one of your previous post, and learned that you have ET20 at the front (ET30 with 10mm spacer) and ET25 at the back (ET30 with 5mm spacer). Can you please advice is ET24 for both front and back would be push it to hard? I intend to put some 225/40/18 on the front and 245/40/18 at the back or 224/40/18 for all four depends on the clearance to the fender. thanks in advance~~~

What is the width of the wheels with the +24? Depending on the width, it can or cannot fit. If the wheels are all the same size I would get the same tire size all around that way you can rotate them to all corners.

With 8.5 you should be ok with +24 in the rear. As for tires if you want a slight stretch get the 225/40, if you want more tire and comfort get 235/40
