I have a 2007 C230 Sports Sedan and I saw that other people were able to install the AUX cable in their car. I followed each step BUT, the thing was I couldn't find the Pre-Wire in the car. I took the panel off and everything but still couldn't find it. So if anyone has the same Exact car as me it be sooo much appreciative to give me more info. Or if Anyone has feedback please let me know! Thanks!!!

Does it say "AUX input active" when you hold the CDC button on the headunit?

yep, try pressing the CDC button once, then press again and hold. If it says AUX inactive then you have it prewired. The plug is buried deep under the other wires under the center of the trip next to the seat.

Thing is, if you are going to such lengths to install it, might just buy a plain minijack audio cable and splice it into the CDROM harness, and route it to the ashtray or the center armrest... no need to spend $40 for the inconvenient oem thing.

Yeah, I've looked all over the place and still no Pre-Wire to be found. I just checked out the DIY post below to see how it was done....its too much work lol
