What year? How many miles? How often and what used to change oil?
Could it be...another bad single gang timing chain...
STF! If it is a bad chain...you may want to shut it down NOW...LAST NIGHT...and get a new chain/etc. BEFORE you need a new head.

The noise goes away once I start driving the car.

The oil I use is Mobil 1 I change it every 8000 miles. The car has 94k miles and it is a 2005 c230 sedan

You need to stop driving the car immediately and get it to a shop to change the timing chain and guides.
