Hi guys,
I was swapping out the grommet for my windshield washer pump, and while doing so, a part fell into my hand, and i have no idea what it is. Do you?

Is it rubber or styrofoam?
If the latter, might be a piece of bumper energy absorber?

its rubber, not very soft either, well not hard like tire tread rubber, but not spongy either.
