key not operating at all after battery replacement

key not operating at all after battery replacement
Hello,
i recently bought a coupé c220 cdi, got 2x 2 buttons keys with it, both perfectly operating, one of them was not physically looking good so i purchased a new "box", eBay cheap for it.
Received this morning, i moved the electronics from the old "box" to the new one, since that, i cannot open the car nor start it (car has no reaction at all)
I have seen there could be an operation to resent the key, my first idea is that it has lost some data when i removed the batteries part, lets say it like that...
Would you please have some enlightenment for me please? (the other key is operating perfectly)
