MERCEDES w203 C220 CDI year 2001 20 second black smoke
Dear all,
My w203 C220 cdi year 2001 giving me black smoke problem.
It smokes when the egr valves ^ON or OFF^ the 20 seconds at the moment car just started or rev on the pedal hard once. after the 20 seconds it will back to normal ^no smoke^.
i try off my air con b4 starting the car it wont smoke after started. a workshop try to block 1 of the vacuum pipe link to open EGR valve with ball bearing then it wont smoke but check engine lights will light up.
i tried washing EGR , change all nozzles , clean whole exhaust system, change mass sensor, even i changed the whole engine ECU set but still the same!
Power good fuel consumption also good wont smoke while cruising.just the 20 second! start stop traffic also will smoke 20seconds after pressing on the pedal.
