Hi Everyone,

I know the oil change interval for my 2002 C240 -- with FSS between 10K and 12K miles. However, I am trying to transfer my extended warranty and the warranty company needs documentation from MB showing that this is actually the correct interval. I have looked through all of my manuals and cannot find anything.

Can anyone point me to a document I can send them?

Looks like you're in the right stickied thread right now. Page 138 on the 2002 owner's manual starts talking about the FSS, and if you flip forward two pages, it discusses the 10k between oil changes. That should work.

The service manual should also have something on it, but I haven't looked at mine in a long time.

Thanks Tommy. My oil changes have all been between 10,000 and 11,300 miles. So I should show them that the schedule is flexible (pg 138) and that it is set to 10,000 (pg 140)?

Yes I would think that should get you what you need, but I'm no lawyer.
