2005 C230 Won't Run...

My 05 C230 K just stopped while riding down the road today, felt like the fuel pump died. Engine turned over but wouldn't start. Got AAA towed home and when the flat bed was tilted to get my car off, it started for a few seconds but then died. Now it won't start again.

So, could it still be the fuel pump? I changed the fuel filter a few months ago. It has 140K miles on it. Any other thoughts on what might be causing this? Thanks.

'05 W203 WONT START-POSSIBLY THE FUEL PUMP

HELLO SIR.
ALWAYS CHECK THE FUSE FIRST BUT I BELIEVE THAT THERES A WAY YOU CAN CHECK THE FUEL PUMP BY REMOVING ONE OF THE FUEL LINES FROM THE ENGINE WHERE FUEL SHOULD BE ENTERING THE ENGINE. ALTERNATELY, GRAB A SMALL CONTAINER OF GAS AND PUT A SUCTION TUBE INTO IT. SEE IF THE ENGINE STARTS.
I'M NOT A MECHANIC-JUST KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT ALOT.
-GOOD LUCK

Check the fuel pressure at the Schrader valve on the front fuel rail that connects the injectors. s/b > 3.8bar or 55psi while cranking.

Good luck!

OK, couldn't find a pressure gauge to check the fuel rail, so took a chance and ordered and replaced the fuel pump.

Alas, no luck, still won't start. Did an OBD II scan and came up with:

N/A - ?
P2226 - ?
P0171 - Too lean
P0130 - 02 Sensor
P0172 - Too rich
P0410 - Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction
P0130 (again)

Anyone have a clue what could be stopping it from starting?
Thanks.

I'm thinking about changing out the Crank Position Sensor (relatively inexpensive attempt) and see if that works.

Any experts here think that might be it? Just didn't see anything in the CEL codes to indicate that.

Appreciate your consideration.

To replace the Crank Position Sensor, is it better to jack up the car and get it from underneath? It just looks to be easier to access.

OK, checked the fuel rail and no fuel pressure. Going to double check the new fuel pump connection as well as the fuel sending unit that I replaced. Ugh, this is killing me.
