I checked all the bulbs everything looks fine, called few dealerships seems nobody knows what is going on . I told them about settings that you suggested ,they said ether you can turn it off or on and since it blinks when you unlock it that wouldn't be the problem .... Any more ideas ? I just don't want to drive 2 hours to the closest dealers and spend 200$ just to check it and if it's something simple to fix . Thanks

Go to your settings and check that you have them switched on. If not, usually what happens is something is open, whether your hood or trunk or someone didn't shut a door right or maybe one of your turn signals are loose. While you so that, push your hazards and see if the bulbs are flashing. The bulbs are amber, I wasn't able to tell that my bulbs were burnt out. Check that your tail lights are plugged in. When that happened to me, my hood wasn't shut correctly and my turn signal had a light out. Hopefully that helps

As the man said. usually what happens is something is open, whether your hood or trunk or someone didn't shut a door right.
If it thinks any doors are open it should tell you.
You might need to adjust the hatch / trunk.
But any open circuits on door switches should tell you, X door is open when the car is moving with a red screen. And then you know where to focus your efforts.

Out Of Control!!
Reset the emergency release in the trunk by pushing the button with the hatch or trunk open - that was the culprit when I had a similar situation.

Hey guys thanks for the responds .... Did everything you suggested
1. Went to setting- I did make sure everything is set on ON, hdlamp 15 sec and int.light 10 sec (did manual also)
2. Turned the hazard lights all blinking ( is any way to tell if bulb is going out ?)
3. Open and closed trunk few times , tried all variations ( remote , door button, and trunk emergency button )
Still seems nothing changed , locking and no light blinking , now I can't stop think about it , it started actually bothering me from inside ))

Check the functionality (lube if needed) of your hood latch and associated mechanism. The car may think the hood is open even though it appears closed to you. I can't remember what they are but you may lose other functions if this is the case.

Hmmmm. The car should TELL you if it thinks the hood is open, or a door, or the trunk.
I had this problem when I took the latch apart on the hatch, and didn't put it back together right.
Red warning on the dash constantly, and no blinking when locking.
Fixed it eventually...wired.

2002 CLK320 Convertible
When I lock my doors the lights don’t flash 3 times
Simple fix. 2002 CLK320 convertible. My trunk appeared to be properly closed but the sleeve of a coat was stuck under the trunk lid. Moved the coat sleeve, closed the trunk and ...the lights flashed 3 times when I pushed the lock button on the key fob. If your lights aren’t flashing when you push the lock on your key fob, please check to see that your doors, hood and trunk are properly closed. Best of luck.
