Maintaining drains below windscreen
Hi Guys
Just a heads up.
I reversed out of the driveway yesterday and noticed a whole lot of water puddled under the left front wheel.
Basically small leaves from the trees where I park at work had been settling in the drain pipes that run from the sumps below the windscreen down to the underbody covers.
We had a major storm and obviously water could not get out of the sumps so ended up seeping out of the connections between the pipe and sump into the battery compartment and puddling there! Not a good situation as there are a heap of electrical wires running through there.
So I removed the battery and towelled out all the water and then blow dried the area of remaining moisture.
Then blew clean all the pipes with compressed air and assisted with a fishing tape for electric conduits to loosen the leaves up. They were packed tight with leaves! I keep our car clean but will now be vacuuming the windscreen sump weekly to keep it clean too!

Don't forget other side where FrontSAM is. You want to keep that dry as well!
