Goodbye MBWorld!
Hello guys!
It is time to say goodbye for me. I hate to say it, but the C320 was not the best purchase I've ever made. With the plethora of problems she had, I had to sell her, for quite a bit less than what I paid less than a year ago. I am now the owner of a 2008 Dodge Charger. I owned a 2006 Top Banana Charger Daytona Edition #2040 and she was a blast for the roughly 3 years that I owned her, so it only made sense to go back to familiar territory.
I have no really good pictures yet, no big mods, nothing to speak of, per se. At the moment, just working on getting used to driving a Charger again, learning the new NAV system, etc etc. In the coming days I will be doing a simply tune up with some fresh oil, filter and spark plugs.
I can't say this is a COMPLETE goodbye, as the Charger has the same 722.6 transmission as the C320 did. I'm sure a lot of other little bits and pieces are also carried over from Mercedes. So in essence, I still have pieces of my old car in my new car.

Sorry to see you go but, as you say, there still some MB in there for you. Hopefully it will be reliable and not cost so darn much to get work done. (and ya got a Hemi)!!!

Sorry to hear about your C320. I had the exact problem you had with your tranny but the conductor plate and connector replacement did the trick and it feels like new again. Nothing wrong with a HEMI though, I love the simplicity of that motor and it's so torquey and reliable.
