Brake Assist visit workshop

Hello, I recently got this up in my dash, and I googled that the stop light switch is failing a lot on the W203, causing this fault code.

So I connected my scanner, and it found this on BAS:

C1025-001 CAN bus: CAN message Engine control module is faulty. DTC Status: Fault indicator lamp on

C1025-002 CAN bus: CAN message ABS is faulty: DTC Status: Fault indicator lamp on

C1025-004 CAN bus: CAN message Stop lamp switch is faulty. DTC Status: Fault indicator lamp on

P1025-016 The fault code is not found in the database

P1025-064 The fault code is not found in the database

And in the REAR sam:

B1054 Component E3e4 (Left stop lamp) has Short circuit or open circuit. Component E3e7 (Lower left taillight and brake light) has Short circuit or open circuit.(FunctionStop lamp) DTC Status: Stored.

B1050 Component E3e2 (Left taillamp and parking lamp) has Short circuit or open circuit. (Outer). OR Component E3e7 (Lower left taillight and brake light) has Short circuit or open circuit.(FunctionTail light). DTC Status: Stored.

I included the two last ones in case this could prove what the problem might be, (if it has something to do with the stop light switch or something.
I checked the tail lights, and the brake lights are working, both sides...

What do you guys think? Could all of these errors come from a faulty stop light switch? And btw, I have only the BAS fault code in the dash, NOT ESP and all that other stuff that others claim to have when the stop light switch is faulty.

I had the ESP fault code pop up once in my dash, but I resetted it with turning my steering wheel, and it have not come back again. So I guess this could be random as well. The BAS fault code comes up every time I start my car.

Is there any way to confirm it is the stop light switch? Or do I need to replace it to check?

Any help and suggestions is highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Check the switch by metering the leads?

Hmm, I'm not sure how to test it, but I unplugged it and checked the resistance . It is the 4-pin switch. There is connection between pin 3 and 4, until I press the switch in. I don't know how this switch works, so I don't know if it's correct. There's nothing between pin 1 and 2 for example.

Also, I noticed my cruise control doesn't work as well. This is typical for the brake light switch also, isn't it? Or could the problem be somewhere else, like the wheel sensor? Is this possible to check/test for malfunction/failure?

Thanks in advance

Pins 1-2 are normally open and should close when you press the brake pedal. Pins 3-4 are normally closed and should open when you press the brake pedal. If you are getting no response from pins 1-2, then the switch is broken.
And yes, that will keep the cruise control from working.
