Mityvac 7201

I have a 2005 c230 that I tried to perform an oil change on today. This is my first time using the Mityvac I just purchased. I installed the main tub into the Mityvac and then the small tub which is the only one that will fit into the tube (the reb one in the back of the engine compartment). It started working good and finished at 4 Liters. Shouldnt it have pulled about 6 qts out? I didn't have any messages saying to add oil or it was low before using the Mityvac so it should have pulled 6 qts. Did I do something wrong?

THE C350
Which one did you put it in the full red one or the one that is back with a red tab on the top?

How long did you leave it in and did you pump it up a few more times? Also are you sure it was at the bottom many have had the issue of it not being in the bottom of the pan.
But yes you should have gotten more out unless it was low but as you said 2qts low should have set the computer off.

The all red cap. That's what I was told. I left it in prob 15 minutes and when it just sucked in air I tried pumping many more times. I couldn't push the tub anymore down. I then tried lifting it a little and no difference.
