My tank

Hi!

I have a little problem with my car. (W203 2000 model 220 diesel)

When my fuel tank is on half, it starts sucking air instead of diesel, and can't start the car. Do you guys have idea about what the problem is, or how i can fix it?

Anyways, thanks for reading

THE C350
The car uses a saddle bag type tank so I would guess that you have a bad pipe going from one side to the other. This is fine when you have fuel but when you get lower it starts to suck air.
That said have you checked fuel pressure and the normal stuff? Or does filling it up again fix all the issues?
That's my guess you need to take out the rear seat and unscrew the tops to the tank when it is as low as possible so you can take a look.
