Is it totaled?
So today I was rear-ended in my c240 and it looks bad to me. My friends say it's not totaled but I assumed frame damage meant a salvaged title. So I would like you guys to give me your opinions.
Thanks,
Dino

Probably totaled. Bumper, trunk lid, body pull = $4k+ easily. AFAIK they total a car when the repair cost is ~80% of the value.
Sad stuff... Was it a truck?

Chevy Tahoe and the guy tried giving me some expired insurance so I'm hoping he had old papers but at least it gives me a chance to get a c32 or c55 or maybe even a down payment for a c63 (I wish) the car has 83k miles and it's a 2002 so it might be close to 6-7k

Value is probably around 5k max to be honest so yeah she is a goner. I would go for the c55 as that engine is bulletproof and you don't have to deal with superchargers. Plus its newer and has what many say is the better interior.
GL with the guy's insurance company as they are always fun to deal with hopefully he is paid up. I would start looking for comparable cars right now to throw back at the insurance company if they offer you something crazy.
