I'm going to be "helping" my neighbor figure out the shimmy he's getting out of the brakes on his 06 C230 this weekend and I need a little info. First off, I am mechanically savvy, just trying to figure out some of the nuances of this car. After doing a quick search, I found that some models of MB's have a tow away alarm that can cause issues if I jack the car up without disabling it. Also, it looks like I have to disable the ABS pump before compressing the caliper pistons. Questions I have are: how do I determine this car has these features, what are the procedures to disable them and are there any other electronic features that can cause headaches?

The tow alarm is only on if the car is locked so just leave the doors unlocked. As for the brake system the w203 has a standard brake setup so no special things need to be done just crack open the bleed valve and push away.
