hello guys ,
i am facing strange issue with my w203 c180 k 2002 stereo..
when ever i insert cd it display loading for a second and suddenly shows "cds err" and turns back to radio.i tried many different kind of discs... orignals and cd-r both but no luck.. please any help will be appriciated

What does the manual say about that error?

Don't have a manual

Check the MB website for your country you might be able to get a pdf of it.
Problem is we don't have that HU in the USA.
Guessing that since you have used many cd's that either the lens is dirty or some other issue. Maybe try a lens cleaning disc I have seen them work.

Thanks I will try to find this user manual.... I bought this car last month and this error was already in it .... It's a UK import car ... So I will check the UK site for manual...thanks
