Replacing a Bi-Xenon Lens??
Hi guys,
Unfortunately I got in a fender bender this morning. I scuffed the back bumper of a truck and cracked my passanger headlight lens in the process. I looked up the cost of a new assembly on autohaus at 821$. For that price, I would go through insurance, however, is it possible to pick up one of the cheap ebay headlights and just change the lens? is the Bi-Xenon lens the same as the halogen lens? Any input would be appreciated. Oh and this is on a 2006 C55

Oh and a followup question,
Can i drive this thing for the next few days till i get it fixed? the headlights seem to work without issue but i'm in florida where it rains constantly. What if water gets into the assembly?

The lens can be replaced. Just remove the rubber seal (several clips), and use a hair dryer to soften the glue. Use a good durable sealant afterwards.
Unfortunately the clear lens cannot be purchased separately. Not show how well something off eBay will fit the OEM housing.
