A bonnet latch (lever) question
Hi all
I would like to ask that if the bonnet latch normal in the picture? I seldom open the bonnet, I am not quite sure. The reason for this question is that recently if the car runs fast, around 80km/h or above, it "may" generate some flapping noise somewhere from the front (flap...flap...flap...flap...), it does not happen in normal speed or it will go away if it slow down.
I stopped the car and checked to see of anything losing or anything attached to the wheels but I did not find anything. It does not seem to be mechanical issue and no fault is prompted.
At home I further checked and found this bonnet latch is a bit interesting, it is quite losing and it may be the cause of the issue but I am not sure...
Thanks for any ideas

Out Of Control!!
Yes, it's not normal. I agree with okkie. It's possible also that the cable could be stretched, but loose bolts/screws are more likely.

Just want to post my finding to complete this post, I found that that issue was due to the front left inner fender was broken, so when the car goes fast, the broken fender was pushed to the tire and causing the noise
