C180 2002 somethimes bad/no throttle response
Have a tricky problem, it does not respond to throttle sometimes. The same applies when driving on cruise control, which should exclude pedal sensor, right?
Cleaned the contact surfaces of the throttle body, TPS, I guess it's called, without improvement.
Switched to a used throttle body, still the same error.
Pulled the plug to the mass air flow sensor (MAF), still the same error.
Have calibrated the throttle body by:
1. Turn on the ignition, position 2 (all lights on)
2. Pressed the pedal to the bottom, and waited for 5-10 seconds.
3. Released the pedal completely.
4. Turned off the ignition.
Still the same error.
What should I check next?
Could it be pedal sensor anyway?
