purchased aftermarket radio..where is antenna located?

purchased aftermarket radio..where is antenna located?
Today I purchased a pyle aftermarket radio for my 2004 mercedes benz c240 4 matic sedan, when the car is parked the reception is good but when I start driving I get alot of static, is this what happens when you purchased aftermarket radios or can I have that crystal clear reception like I had with the OEM version?


Also does anyone know where the antenna is located?

You need an antenna booster on the Benz to get good reception

EBay or from scosche. You can look up the part # on scosche.

The antenna is the defrost wire of the back window and there is an amplifier build-in. This has to be activated with 12V on the pin no 5 of connector A at the radio. Aftermarket radios have a cable for the automatic antenna, you can connect this cable with the pin 5.
