I have a haynes/chillton, useless for anything technical like electrical, great for common stuff ,brakes, suspension, typical stuff that wears out with procedures.

When I had my old vw I had a huge 800 page bentley service manual that was invaluable. Does nothing comparable exist for w203? They did make one for w202.

can anyone recommend something similar?

example, I want to test my ac temperature pressure sensor but there are 6 pins I believe and without knowing what pin is what and what the expected ohm reading should be it is still just guess work.

I know mb star dealer etc but that is so expensive here about $200 just to hook it up and run the diagnostic each time.

There's just one issue I'll tell you about and I don't know if there's a workaround:

I just got mine recently and haven't been able to use it because I get a message window saying it can't run on 64-bit. I'm currently looking for a cheap 32-bit laptop to run it on.

I bought mine some years ago on Ebay, about A$35. As Euro Driver says it has to be run on 32 bit computer but I am told people in the know can make it run on 64.

The haynes manual sucks. Beware, they suggest wrong fluids, and tell you to change the oil like every 3K miles, which is BS. But it make a nice supplement to the DVD.
Use the DVD, do research online.
Even the DVD is lacking detail, and the photo's suck, but you need it.

Easy to make run on a 64bit windows OS. Will have to see if I can find my notes on it since i haven't used it in years.
You can make it work on a mac if you dual boot or run a VM of a windows os.
