Hey guys. I have a question regarding applicable ATF for a W203 C320 sedan.

I've read several threads making it okay to use other brands of ATF other than Mercedes Benz approved for this job. I'm trying to determine how to know what transmission type i have (722.6?) and what fluids are acceptable for this transmission.

Someone mentioned that ValvolineMAX Life Dex/Merc was viable option for replacing the fluid in this type of transmission. Any feedback?


Also, what about Sheel ATF 134?

Post your VIN(tranny type)-----if MB approved it will say so on the back of the label---no approval let some other sap use it!!

Correct ~ 236.14 only. Shell ATF 134 is approved. Do NOT use Maxlife!
