MB: E55 AMG, CL550, E3004M Cab + other makes :)
if you just want a bit more sound, remove the stock resonator / muffler and replace with straight pipe. Not really worth trying to get any performance out of the c240, it's not a Kompressor motor...

I've got the c240.. Haven't done the exhaust yet but my plans are to replace the resonator with a glasspack tube or w.e and replace the muffler with an Aero Turbine muffler. I seen a c230 and c320 with the aero turbine and the sounded great. Only for a nice sound tho. This engines pointless to try and squeeze out HP or torque. Might as well buy an AMG car if that's what u want.

Probably correct that there is only so much more HP you can squeeze out of an I4. BUT the mods that can be done make driving much more fun. For example sprint booster makes for an amazing improvement in throttle response. A simple k and n drop in air filter also adds a little more power with a nice sound. The Ecu tune also adds some bite to the acceleration.

I'm getting my Kleeman headers soon, and will report back.

Test drove c55 amg recently, and although it was amazing, it wasn't decisively better for my driving style. The small 1.8l in the c230 revs nice and you can control at the limits; the c55, however, it is just bananas. In the c230 you can drive as fast as you want all the time and have a blast, but you'd have to be out of your mind doing that with a c55.

Reminds me of when I had a 350z, would have to constantly be careful on throttle not to go to fast. Wasn't fun and ended up selling...

Thank you! I'm just looking for bit more roar you know what i mean. i was looking for exactly that just to remove the muffler and add a straight pipe but every time I'm trying to find something its like from the catalytic converter on up, which i wasn't trying to do. if you would be able to point me in the right direction that would be awesome! I just recently put K&N filters in and after doing the exhaust i wanted to get it tuned. I'm not looking for a crazy increase just a tad bit for when I'm merge on the highway.

I was looking on trading it in I found a cls 500 in my area which looked absolutely stunting!

Thank you!!
