Gas pedal stop
Does pushing the gas pedal past the stop have any effect on a car with MT? As I understand it, on an auto it affects kick down and what not...

You are correct manuals do not have kick down switchs and therefore nothing happens, except if you are over exuberant I guess you could damage the pedal!

Newer auto's don't have kick down switches either. The TCU senses from %age TPS actuation.
