Idler pulley question

Idler pulley question
Hi all. Quick question here.
Been getting a somewhat loud noise coming form the pulley the past few weeks, after researching this I found it to be a common problem with our cars. So I was about to order the Idler pulley when i noticed 2 types (smooth and grooved?)
I'm now confused. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person in the world to say the least. So I'm wondering if I could get a part number or a link to the part I need. Also would you guys recommend replacing the belt as well?
It's an 06 C230 btw.
