Looking to buy a 2007 C230WZ
Hello,
Thanks to all for the amount of information shared in this site. Like the title reads looking into getting a '07 C230 with 85,600 miles. Things to look for?

If possible have it scanned with Star/DAS. Big ticket things to look for are turbine speed sensor (transmission), intake manifold, and balance shaft issues.
We dodged a bullet last year. Nearly purchased a 2007 C230 that looked pristine, just as a second car. I used to have a 2005 C230 and missed the W203. Had the foresight (luckily) to demand to take it to our Mercedes guy before we made the deal and he said "don't buy this car" before even hooking it up. Once scanned, showed pending trouble codes for both turbine speed sensor and intake manifold. We took it back and walked.
I would say do not buy it without a PPI to include a scan.

I bought one in July 2016 ,should have read this before ,it had a stored 2006 code (intake manifold) ,I'm having it repaired
