Can I clean maf while still in car?
Want to clean mass airflow sensor but do not want to spend all day taking it out.

Can I just spray the sensor while plugged into car (after taking out air filter out with car off)?

Probably...but you'd get a better clean with it off

Sprayed screen and maf yesterday and let dry overnight. Car started fine today. Maybe not the best cleaning job, but probably got any large contaminants or oil from my KN air filter

Just drill some holes and pour the cleaner in. Good as new!!

It's not really that hard to remove, though - even I can do it.

Drill some holes in the screen? I'm pretty handy but the DIYs for taking out maf looked like a pain!
