Is backpressure causing my hoses to pop off?
I have been getting CELs on my car stating misfires, catalytic converter, and air flow codes. I have not replaced my cat nor have I looked at it yet since I had my wiring harness, TB, MAF, and ME replaced due to the cam sensor leaking which caused my engine to run with misfires for years (replaced December 2015). I am guessing that I have a bad cat but would that cause enough back pressure to continue to blow the hoses I have in the photos off? Any advice would be appreciated.
Symptoms are power loss, hesitation in upshifting and downshifting gears, and a howling noise that comes from the passenger side of the engine when accelerating hard.

So I should be looking for a vacuum leak somewhere around the engine? When I accelerate I am hearing some kind of "leaking air" sound similar to that a compressed air hose makes. I wonder what the hell is loose because power loss is evident.

Well I had my exhaust checked and it looks like my cat is okay and there is not issue with clogged cat because the exhaust is actually emitting more than it is supposed to be (which I know I have a bad 02 sensor). My next step is to find out where I have a vacuum leak and I'm guessing its most likely the PCV hose underneath the air box. I really don't feel like taking it out but I'll have to find a solution
