Stuck Coolant Temp Sensor

Tried replacing the sensor today and for some reason the sensor wont come out, like its stuck in the front of the engine. any ideas? the plastic broke off trying to remove it. thanks its the m112 engine for reference

Davis i think you will need to use brute force on it . Did you get the engine warm before you worked on the sensor . Can you get a good socket on it and a tube .Give it a tap with a hammer to brake the joint first ..

I'm not sure what you mean by getting a socket around it. I'll try to post a picture here of the sensor I'm dealing with.

Well you see i live in the past .Never seen one like this that you have .How do they secure it to the engine ?.

It's held on by a small clip that I removed with a pair of needle nose. And other than that I think it's just held in by Fitment.

Davis its just the O ring holding it in now .You just need to pull it .You wont damage anything its already scrap.

That's the thing...I've tried pulling it out everyday I could think. It just seems stuck somehow. I'll post a picture later on of it

Davis the only thing holding it in there is the O ring Try twisting it around to break the seal .Get your pliers on it and try to move it, clock wise , and anti clock wise .
