The C240s big fan start very loud with the starting of the car. I noticed when I start the AC, the fan works on and off evry few seconds and I also noticed that the blower of the AC is also on and off. When the blower of the AC is on, the big fan is off and vise a versa but this is continually .
thank you

You have a fault in the big fan control unit----you also have a fault in the AC fan resistor--change both and enjoy life!!

I have found one of the pins connectors of the ECU broken off and missing. I bought some pins connectors from fry's and inserted one in the female plug and then placed it into the ECU male. It worked...YYAAAAH the fan is not coming on but the temperature is just over 80..Is it normal or a little high?
