taking repairs to my own hands

so my car was bought from carmax and i still have the warranty on it until 100,000 Miles, but everytime i take it i have to take it back the next month. So i have a list of the things i would want to learn how to do. (i have no experience with car repair)

1) how to reset the eletric part of my car.(computer)

and this is more of a general thing but what should i be looking at to see if somethings seems wrong?

What is it you want to reset? Most of the components in the car have a computer in them and communicate on a network called the canbus. to access these systems requires a special interface and software for Mercedes star Diagnostics or sds. What maintenance items are you hoping to accomplish? The main ECU is located under the hood. All the systems are accessed through the OBD port under the dash by the steering wheel
