About a month ago i changed my car battery in my 2004 c240, and a few times in the first day or two after changing, it would turn off randomly while idling. It didn't stall at all or only once or twice for about a month until yesterday, when it happened twice idling at red lights. I have no info apart from it was raining hard yesterday, but not the other times. What is the cause of this and is It a big job to repair? Thanks in advance!!

weird.. so the car never died at idle before the battey swap? what was the reason for the battery swap? perhaps you can have your alternator tested.

No it never died once before the battery swap. We swapped the battery because the old
battery was shot, it had been in the car since I bought it. I will see if I can test the alternator, is there any other possibilities?
