Tensioner reset

After read quite a few post on here about the balance shaft issue from slickspeed I figured out how to reset the one time use tensioner. Here's the one I used oright at the top of the treads there's a spring metal wrap that keeps the ratchet piece in. With your thumb nail lift one side over the center "keeper" and spin it around to pull the rachet piece out.

Once you get this out you need to pull the top ring back to the groove at the bottom

Then retract the shaft back till you hear one click. It should stay and lock back like new. after it locks insert the rachet piece back. Mine had a line going through 3/4 of it. You want to place it so that 1/4 that doesn't is pointing toward the threads

Then just sin the spring cover back around and you have re-set the non re-setable timing chain tensioner. Enjoy
