05 C230Kompressor Sport Sedan deal..

S I'm goin in on Monday to chat a bit with my salesperson about acquiring the 05 C230 Kompressor Sedan. What he did last time, withour E-class that is, he had asked us to name a price. We named and he declined but added $100 to it and we took it.

Now I figure transactions involving a E-class would be much different than those of a C-class, not degrading the C of course, a nice nice car.

But what I need help from your guys, especially MarcusBenz, is what kinda price I should put out to him or better yet, what kinda prices should I be expecting to get hit with? NO MSRPS!! I always do better than MSRP similar to almost every member on this board except for those big baller ones.

Keep in mind, I want an 05 C230 Komp Sedan with Lighting, Sunroof, Entertainment, and Automatic...Thanks much guys and gals...

DaCeptak0n-

This is from my own experience, I picked up my '05 C230 Sedan in late May (right when they were hitting the dealers) it has the options seen in my signature. The MSRP on the vehicle was $35,930 and I got the car for $31,965 + TTL, the salesperson was a friend of the family, but not very close. I didn't even have to haggle with him about price. This price was without the C-spot coupon.

Good Luck!

Lowell

That is some impressive price w/o the c-spot coupon. I am going in to buy my c class this sunday. I am looking for the same car as you and also the same packages. The msrp is 35590 and kbb invoice is 33152. Now w/ that said, Im going to try and get my price at 31965. at the end bust out hte c-spot coupon to bring it down to 30465

ill let you guys know if everything works out. wish me luck

How do I acquire a C-Spot Coupon?...Should I ask my salesman about it or what?

Keep in mind that in South Jersey they won't likely negotiate as much as if you were in the NYC metro area with lots of dealers competing for your dime. Frankly I would be surprised if you got anywhere close to invoice. In a large metro area you can probably do as much as a $500-800 below invoice. Keep in mind that you can't say the deal will be the same on the E, that's not a good car and they just did a major recall because the brake by wire system can fail and reliability on that car has been much worse than the C. The E has a floaty ride and the brake by wire has an inherent delay that's disconcerting to many. That's why you can get an E for more than $3k below invoice (not MSRP). As for C-Spot, check Ebay, it's worth $1,500 of any new C class except AMG.

Buel i see your logics here but you would think that in a small town they would have fewer customers so the demand will be lower adn so will the supply whereas in bigger cities such as LA and New York the competition is higher but so are the demand and supply so its basicly the same curve. As far as your car, good luck and welcome to the w203 forums
