Coolant level low???

What is the easiest and fastest way to fix this malfunction? Do i go to the dealership if so how much do they charge?

Should i just go to a store and buy it myself and do it? Is there a specific one i need to get cor my c230 sedan?

Thanks in advance.

If you're talking about your 2004 then it's covered by warranty, if your coolant is low it means there's a leak or a sensor malfunction...

Just wondering, how bad or serious is this problem? - How long can i go without going to the dealership? I'm running low on time.

How long?

You'll know for sure it was too long when your car over heats. It usually happens on a long hill during a vacation. Given your normal driving situation it may never happen....or then again it may. It's called a warning message for a reason.

take it to the dealer asap because the last thing you need is your car overheating and i think its still pretty warm in la around this time of year. If your car overheats i'm 99% sure that the dealer will not fix watever got damaged under warranty, they would say that you drove the car while it was overheated and that is your fault and your warranty is voided. Also that will be a very expensive bill because there are so many parts under the hood that can get burned, damaged, warped, or crack due to the extreme heat
