I'm not seeing a picture, but you can open up the headlight enclosure and paint the assembly around the actual lights.

What if the eyelids were angel eyes strips?

Read post #47 doesn't sound like something I would like to try.

I have seen many painted headlights in the past. After a while they look like crap (paint flaking and dulling etc). Maybe its due to the incredible heat produced by headlights. That's why I installed the tinted film on the outside. Looks good and protect the lens from chips at the same time.

i agree, i think the film would be much easier and last much longer...

how do you think the c63 was done??

stock tinted plastic?

also, do you put the film on the inside or outside, and where can you buy it from???

Film goes on the outside. Laminx makes a kit for the w204 headlight, fogs, side markers and tail lights. I have them on my fogs, it takes a couple of days for the bubbles to disapear and the glue to become totallt transparent.

DIY for painting the headlights... I would'nt recommend to anyone unless they have had experience in the past.

the C63 AMG headlights are not really black, they are matt dark grey.
if money is not an issue, I suggest buying the C63 headlights for your car.
the fit is the same as a standard W204.

if you are on a budget then I suggest the above by tinting it.

or just wait for a 3rd party product.

I think I read around 1,200.00 USD but I could be wrong.

Yeah its about right

again if money's not an issue.

I guess you can also resort to painting it as you've mentioned
but take it to a shop!

here's a fantastic Moded standard lux C to C63 AMG body kit
cmann painted his headlights and they look very authentic!

Here's the post C63 Body Kit Mod

There is thread where a member in Texas took his car to a body shop and they had to remove the front bumper to get to the head lights, once the head lights are out just like Ron said What if the eyelids were angel eyes strips? read post # 47
