Do a search. There is a thread on how to swap out interior lights. At the end, it tells you how to swap out the license plate lights. No easy way. Have to strip the inside cover of the trunk to get to those bulbs..

And its nearly impossible without guide on the S204. Too scared to break something....

I did not think it was that bad when I did it before the DIY. Just have to get the trunk liner and the plastic bar out. For me, that was much easier than swapping out the side marker.

You know, it's pretty complicated for a newbie to search the forum, get the right bulbs (no resistors required), find a torx screwdriver, take the trunk liner apart and replace the bulb.
Why don't you just take off your trunk lid, mail it to me, and I will do it for you for free? Just include return postage so that I can mail the trunk lid back to you. Should take about 20 minutes... Plus postal delivery.

do the W5W turn colour for liscense plate? I'm really not feeling the purple and will be taking it off but don't know where to put them. Anybody done it to the inside?

I have them inside and in my sidemarkers and they don't change shade. The LEDs don't change color, it's due to the heat generated in the eyebrow housing. I've left them plugged in and outside of the housing for 10+ minutes and they stay white.

yep, yea I know the LEDs don't change colour thats what I meant =p. Gotta look for a DIY to change the interior lights. Its the one by the footwells right?
