Can comeone please let me know the meaning of "MM"

also, just wondering how much did all of these cost you? and where did you get them?

I am hoping to spec my car soon and debating if I should get Audio20 and do the Command myself OR order it together with Command which is a very expensive option...

MM is the US name for Comand

I work at a MB dealer this is why I got a really nice price on the parts, somewhere around $2000.

The factory option cost $4175 here in Sweden

i heard (after I bought my car) it is an ~ $2900 USD in the US as an option.

I am in about $1400 USD between new and used components.

Everything done except for:

GPS retrofit antenna install, Central Vent display switch - delayed by shipping

Axial Blower Motor - still cannot find the mounting holes - the pics in the procedure for install has me lost, i just cannot find that angle!

If anyone with NAV happens to drop the 3 screws on the lower Instrument Cluster cover, can you take a pic of where the fan is, so I can get the proper perspective, please?

I cant help for what you asked but wondering how did you do the retrofit variant coding with a Star Diagnosis?
And for how much you bought all the necessary parts?
Who did the retrofit?
Also if you can show some pictures of the entire retrofit?

thanks.

as far as pics of the entire retrofit, I did not take a lot of pics for the actual retrofit, I believe Vic is going to do that soon. He is going to perform the standard retrofit using the retrofit harness. I used my existing harness and added in the power harness for the Axial Blower.

Otherwise without the Axial Blower I could have used my existing harness with a slight mod to my display power harness to accommodate the difference between the Audio 20 display and the Nav Monitor.
I plan to let my dealer do the MOST config and code versioning as required.
I spent about $1500 USD (I used a combination of new and used components.)
I did the installation myself.

In the US cars, the Front SAM fuse box, it is Fuse 11 for the display and Fuse 26 for the Radio/Comand
The power harness for the 5" display has 2 connectors and for the 7"display has one connector.

Seems like the picture would be different as there is no external fan that I can see for the cars that have the 5" display installed?

And you still won't have the Harman-Karden sound system that the Multimedia package includes.

Correct, the Sound System is an additional $1100 factory option.
But I can live without it, the sound isnt that much better.

that and if you bought that it would cost you almost about the same as if you bought it from the dealer as an option

Does command come with logic 7 system or logic 7 is part of the Harman-Karden package??
If retrofit command means having logic 7 system, I wonder how it will sound with APS20..

Having listened to both, I beg to differ.

The US price for the MM package which includes the Harman-Karden speakers, amps and grilles was about $2950 US as I recall.
