DIY and How to Guides for w204 All Together

So I'm sure I'm not the only one who has started to see the black coating chipping and peeling off the interior switches.. and I'm not about to spend several hundred dollars getting entirely new switch assemblies for the entire cabin.. has anyone figured out how to repair/recoat them?

To do this, you will have to buy the mirror frame assemblies with the courtesy lights, the black plastic trim for the bottom, and possibly the door control modules. I believe you would have to go to the dealer to get the modules programmed.

Some background on my situation. Last year I cracked a rim and after buying a new one I saw a mechanic who told me he could not get the old valve and sensor off the old rim to put on the new one. I ended up just going to Mercedes and buying a new valve and sensor and having them put it on the new rim. So I recently cracked another rim and again bought a replacement. I bought a new valve and sensor through a guy my dad knows who works at Mercedes. This morning I couldn't find any DIYs so I went into my garage and took a couple of pictures of the valve and sensor on my cracked rim and figured I'll just do it myself because it looked pretty simple. So I did do it with no problem. My question now is why is it so difficult to remove as opposed to installing it?

Mercedes C-Class W204 Restyle
Hi!
Still can't find a solution, here is a story (it's all about w204 c-classs 2011 factory equipped with Conamd NTG 4.5 Online, but i'm sure the solution are common for SLK, e-class, c-class):
1. I've just connected my non original but still good cam to my Comand Online NTG 4.5
2. I've powered it from right rear movement light - i took the grount there also; and the anod activating wire was also connected to +12
3. After it i managed to go through the salon to my Comand and connected the video to the jack #6, the right one as showed
4. Then i entered an engineering menu and made my selection as showed
5. And also i checket this - "'External video display' (in the HU parameter menu), 'Front monitor', 'RVC'", it was NTSC so a guess it's all right isn't it? I got an NTSC cam...
6. After reseting system (off, then off the car, lock, stay for 5 minutes) i saw a new point in menu "Rear view camera" and it was already switched on "Activate on R-movement".
7. And, at the and of this all when i first made an reverse gear i saw a blank black screen with "Check for surrondings" and a back button.
What did a do wrong?? Please help ASAP, can't sleep! :-)))

This is not my work and the video belongs to Mr. Scott Elliot. Awesome video tutorial on changing rear brake pads. Took me about 20 min per side. W204 is definitely easier to change than the w203.

I have the SRS malfuntion warning popping up in the dash and took it in to the dealer. The code is for Pyro Fuse in front fuse box F32 is shorted and being saved in ECU. It came on when I changed the battery about a month ago and I am wondering if I am able to change the fuse out or if it could be a bigger problem like the dealership is trying to make it out to be. Thank you all

How do you adjust the DEPO aftermarket projector low beams?
I installed a set of DEPO projector headlights and need to raise the low beam pattern. I found the white plastic screw but it adjusts left to right.
The large metal hex screw on the top of the headlamp is completely turned counterclockwise and the beam pattern is still too low.

Sorry to ask.
I bought this 2011 C250 prefaceflift at 52000 Km 2 months ago, now 54000km.
I know that this car warned me about something not correct, like "release parking brake", or "check tyre pressure". My question is, will this car warn me to change transmission oil and engine oil? and when is the interval for changing transmission oil?
from former owner, I informed that last year he already change the transmission oil, but not remember the mileage.
thanks
Franz

If not, then you should have a plug inside the compartment that is located between the passenger door and the glove compartment.
Hope this helps....

My car has that 1/8" aux jack already. The ipod kit enables you to plug in an ipod, iphone ect using multi pin connectors so it can charge and has to be connected into the back of the head unit and some of the fibre optic connections have to be re routed apparently. I just want more info before I buy the kit
The jack in the glove box sounds like garbage which is why I also want the proper kit..
