So....there's this w204 that got the clear part of their mirrors painted...I was never really that happy with the design of those mirrors with the black, and white(or whatever your body color is), and silver/clear. I've tried the Brabus style CF covering, but not sure if that's a good solution either. Now, I'm thinking of just painting the whole thing white to color match the car. This includes the bottom and mirror frame part which is black and the entire clear section in the middle. Just wanted to poll the forum opinion on fully color matching the side mirrors.

Hmm, maybe not a good idea....maybe just paint the silver part where the CF insert is to body match, so only the clear turn signal shows. Trying to come up with ideas....but most likely laziness will win out and I'll just leave it as is :p

I actually thought about painting the black part where the mirror is attached to the door. but the shop quoted me $250. I think that's money I can spend on something else, so I quit the idea. but If i am able to find someone that can paint that for $100. I will do it.

Well as I have a black car (and love CF) I like mine the way it is. Though that strip of silver is annoying.

Panda, OMG, you are right!!! side mirrors are the ears, the front grill is the Panda nose!!! And if you smoke your headlights. they will be like the circles around the eyes!!! very cute. very cute!!!

can someone photoshop the black part of the side mirror white, so I can see what it looks like? I am thinking about painting my white.

I think your car looks perfect as it is already!

Now, before you jump at me, it's just my opinion, that any more modifications would de-value your car and be on level with rice rockets. Consider all that $$ spent on mods, you're 2/3 way to purchase a C63.

yeah, I see where you're coming from but I have Automotive ADD :p It's a fine line between just enough mods and too much mods and I walk that razor edge everyday when I check what's new on ebay/dealer websites/forums :p

hmm, maybe leave the black part and just paint the clear and silver part white to color match the unit. I dunno. This is fraking my brains.

na... leave the clear and silver as they are. I am gonna try this. stop by the local body shop to get a quote. I will post pictures if I get them done.
