New Benz Owner - (2nd) Question to the membership - Fog Lights
So some additional detail on the car... Car came with every option I wanted except the upgraded lighting, and for the most part, that is OK. After correcting the headlight aim, the stock halogens are pretty decent. That being said, I am coming out of a full size SUV and am used to MORE LIGHT.
What I am looking for is:
Has anyone ADDED fog/driving lights to their car?
I have searched the forums and found lots of good stuff on upgrading and/or replacing headlights and swapping out LED DRL's but nothing about adding in.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's possible, but would require some work. You could get pre facelifted fog housing, add an HID kit, run a relay to the battery, tap it to the low beam trigger, and short the LED wire with a resistor. Could also possibly tap it to the LED strip to trigger if you want it to run continuously.

Adding pre-facelift fogs would require pre-facelift bumper. You should look into the DEPO projector headlights on eBay paired with an HID kit. You'll have loads more light and the same look as the lighting package. I've been really happy with my Morimoto kit from AZN_Optics.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone.
Yes. the "added aux fogs" is what I was looking for.
Seeing how no factory fogs came with the car, has anyone successfully wired in something like this to an existing switch. I do recall one post where they would tie it into the rear "fog" light, but others suggested it may vary voltage levels to an already existing bulb.. not to do that.
