What tire do I need?
First time running staggered set up so I need a little help with some tire sizing. I have 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. Both et 35 nad I'm thinking of running 205/35's or 225/35's on the front (18x8.5) and on the back (18x9.5) running 215/35's or 225/35's. Any help would be appreciated! Oh and yes planning on lowering on H&R super sports with 5mm pad. I am willing to roll fenders if it needs to come to that (done it on previous cars). Also, and recommended brands of tires? Thanks!

FYI, 19x8.5 235/35R19 ET45 front while lowered on H&R SS rubs on fender lip while turning if you hit a dip.

Hello everyone!
I have the C200 Kompressor '08 ,Avantgarde edition which means ~15mm lower than the classic edition.(Europe).
Sitting now all around, on OEM Avantgarde wheels 17" - 7.5J - ET47.
Installing in few days the Eibach Prokit 30mm lowering springs(this means ~15mm lower from my present height).
I ordered all around 18" - 8J - ET42.
Tires will be Michelin PS4 225/40/18.
Problem is instead of ET42 they sent me ET35.
So..will it fit??
How the whole setup will be?
Should i keep the ET35 or demand the ET42 as i ordered?
I like the "straight down the fenders but not outside" setup. Is this the flush setup?
Please help me.

8.5x18 ET42 Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 6.4mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 6.4mm more than before.
9.5x18 ET35 Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 11.4mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 1.3mm less than before.

Currently I'm on HR super sports. I run 18x8.5 +42 on 225/40 in the front right now and there is plenty of room. The rear I run 18x9.5 +35 on a 255/35 and it clears with only rubbing on hard turns. 18x9 +30 has the same amount of poke as a 18x9.5 +35. I assume that since I'll be running a much smaller tire than my current 255/35 that it would be fine. Also switching to coilovers to go lower , so I am hoping the smaller tire size will help fit the wheels given there will be less clearance. There will also be more natural negative camber that will come along with lowering the car more as well. Thoughts?

Essentially, front is going .5 inch wider which is 12.7mm, 6.35mm out and 6.35mm in.
Rear is taking off 5 offset or .2 of an inch so it will be 11.4mm further in. The addition of .5 width will bring it back to close to where it was with only 1.3mm more outside.
Pic of setup?

FYI, Rohana and Discountwheelwarehouse will screw you when they guarantee Rohana offset fitment and end up wrong.
I have a stock 2009 C63 AMG and wanted 19" Rohana RF2's. Eddie at Discountwheelwarehouse.com guaranteed fitment on the 42 front and 47 rear offset wheel so I purchased them and got an invoice for those part numbers. 45 offset rear wheels showed up which I discovered later. I put the wheels on and the rear wheels just barely hit the brake calipers. I called and reported the problem and they wanted me to put 3mm spacers in. I said NO because I'd be down to a ridiculous 42 offset in the rear when I purchased guaranteed fitting 47's. So they reluctantly authorized an RMA.
I then called Rohana myself to make sure nobody was making any stupid error anywhere. Rohana still claimed they should fit. I sent photos so all parties saw they didn't actually fit. At some point I ask the expert at Rohana (Mike) about the performance package that came with my car stock. I know it has double slotted front disks but the rears should be the same.
So the next day Sarah at Discountwheelwarehouse calls and informs me that she has canceled the return shipping labels and that they and Rohana will not accept a return of the wheels because I didn't disclose my car had the performance package, lol.
I try to explain that almost all cars have various dealer options and that my rear brakes should be the same and that they only asked for make/model/year prior to their fitment guarantee. Sarah didn't care, she claims my dealer performance package is like an aftermarket upgrade I should have told them about. She says I'm stuck with the $3k tires and wheels that don't fit.
ROHANA AND DISCOUNTWHEELWAREHOUSE ARE DISHONEST AND INCOMPETENT THIEVES. Be wary of doing any business with these companies.
I've opened a credit dispute against them and given that they delivered a part different from what I paid for as shown on my invoice I think my bank will make quick work of these crooks.

Only way to tell would be to see how much space you have right now between the wheel and the suspension.

Hey guys I have a 2013 C350 Coupe with the AMG Sport Dynamic Package, I currently have wheels installed on it that are 18x8.5 ET44 in the front and 18x9.5 ET46 in the rear.
When I had the wheels installed I simply transferred the original Continental tires to these wheels, meaning 225/40/18 in the front & 255/35/18. Since these tires were on the original wheels that were not as wide as the ones I have installed now, the tires have a little stretch. They don't rub or anything perfect fitment whatsoever. However, now I'm planning on buying new performance tires, the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and I was wondering if wider tires would fit? I want to know if 235/40/18 in the front & 265/35/18 in the rear would fit? So technically just add 10mm in width to the front and rear. Will this have the possible issue of rubbing? Thank you all soo much in advance!!

New Rim Shopping
I have a 2012 C300 4matic and found a set of wheels (happen to be AMG replicas) that I want to run. They are 19x8.5F and 19X9.5R with a 45 offset all around. I just want to make sure that I am not gonna run into any rubbing issues as I plan to have them powder coated before a pre fit. If I want to roll the wells, I am hoping that it will be only if I so springs. Anyone with some insight would be a huge help before I pull the trigger.

Hey guys, I am new to Benz ownership, and have some questions regarding offset for my 2012 C300 4Matic Sport. I have been browsing through these forums, and pretty much everything that I have read about offsets, most people are saying that they run +42 and up. I come from a 350z where I ran +15 in the front, and +5 in the rear. I even read a post where the guy referenced +39 offset as "ridiculous". Is there a mechanical reason why I wouldn't want to go that low for offset, or is it just a preference on how it looks? I am looking to buy wheels/suspension soon, so I am just trying to get as much information as possible before I buy anything. Thanks in advance.

That looks like a staggered setup or at least the rear offset is more negative as it looks more concaved in the rear. Do you have wheel specs for both front and rear? This fitment is exactly what I'm looking to get. Thanks in advance!

MBWorld Fanatic!
9 inch wide wheel for the front is a little large. im sure someone has done it but with a 42et it would probably poke out the fender and depending on how low, camber, road surfaces, you would most likely rub in some/all conditions and steering positions.

Hi!
Would these fit on my C280 4matic?
Front: 8,5x18 ET48
Rear: 9x18 ET54
and what tyres should i run to keep circumference as close as possible since i have 4matic.
